2018 March Software Updates

Highlights

  • Suppliers can identify who accepted the Terms and Conditions on the Partner Details display.
  • Suppliers can use an Advanced Filter for Terms and Conditions of Use status.

19 March 2018

We are updating our Terms and Conditions of Use for Zift123 users in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for all EU residents that goes into effect 25 May 2018. The updated Terms and Conditions of Use will ensure that Zift Solutions and you as our customer, meet the high standard for data privacy introduced by the European data protection law.

From 19 March 2018 any partner with an Administrator role will be shown the new  Terms and Conditions of Use and asked to confirm their acceptance on behalf of their organization. Partners will have the choice to defer their acceptance, but if they continue to do so after 15 May 2018, Zift Solutions will no longer be able to offer them the use of the application.  To encourage partner acceptance, we recommend that suppliers reach out to partners as the deadline approaches.

Partner users who do not have the Administrator role will be shown a message when they log into the system, but will not be asked to accept the Terms and Conditions of Use, and can click to continue to use the system.

Once a partner organization has confirmed acceptance, these messages will no longer appear.

Suppliers will be able to access partner compliance information in the following ways:

  • There is a new section on the Partner Details page, Partners > All Partners > selected partner Terms of Service. The system records the email, first and last names, date accepted and the version of the Terms and Conditions. Each time a new Terms and Condition is uploaded, partner data will be stored on the Partner Details. If a partner does not accept the Terms and Conditions of Use, suppliers will see "The current terms have not been accepted by a partner administrator."
